When disaster strikes, the Texas labor movement steps in to offer solidarity and support for union members who are victims.

This is such a time on at least two fronts. The Texas AFL-CIO Disaster Relief Fund will do our part to help.

Last month, Hurricane Fiona knocked out power to the entire island of Puerto Rico and damaged homes and infrastructure. Many families remain without power weeks later.

At the start of October, Hurricane Ian killed at least 100 Floridians as of this writing. The storm destroyed homes, bridges, and other structures to the tune of tens of billions of dollars. Rebuilding may take years.

The Texas AFL-CIO Disaster Relief Fund will pass along 100 percent of your contribution toward assisting union storm victims. The Fund sends a message that union Brothers and Sisters in Texas stand in solidarity with our Brothers and Sisters who need help.

No amount is too small.

Union families in Texas have benefited from labor solidarity when natural disasters strike our state. It’s our turn to help. Thank you.
