The Texas AFL-CIO is delighted to welcome Madison White as our new Digital Organizer. White, who came to the state labor federation after working at Democracy for America, will oversee social media and other aspects of our communications program.  “Madison White clearly has the tech knowledge and the organizing ability to take the Digital Organizer position to new heights,” Texas AFL-CIO President Rick Levy said. “We are confident the union movement will benefit from her talent, dedication and hard work.”  “I’m so excited to be joining the Texas AFL-CIO as the new Digital Organizer and can’t wait to get to work on behalf of Texas’ diverse and formidable labor force.” White said.  A Nevada native, White became involved in politics during the 2016 presidential primary and has since worked on a number of state and local races across the west coast. Prior to relocating to Austin, Texas, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Whittier College with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Political Science. Most recently, she worked as Press Secretary at Democracy for America.
