We are building political power for working families

We’re not beholden to any political party or any candidate. We’re fighting so that every family in Texas has a fair shot to get ahead.

That’s why we’re working to raise the minimum wage, pass equal pay for equal work, and require employers to give workers a chance to earn paid sick days. We’re opposing private school vouchers, and working to increase funding for our neighborhood public schools. We want to make college more affordable, and to expand access to job training and certified apprenticeship programs. We’re looking to punish corporations that ship our jobs overseas, and we’re working to end the politics of hate and divineness.

With volunteers, organizers, affiliate unions, and our CLC/ALF regional partners we’re knocking on the doors across Texas to talk about issues that matter to working families. We’re hosting town hall meetings, legislative advocacy trainings, voter registration drives, and even job fairs.
