The principal officer of the Dallas AFL-CIO issues this statement: "Jennifer and I wish a speedy recovery to Mr. and Mrs. Trump. We also wish a speedy recovery to the million other people who have been hit with this virus and may not have the quality care that the Trumps will get. We wish a speedy recovery to the 30,000 airline workers being laid off because the Senate would not take action. We wish a speedy recovery to the millions facing unemployment and poverty. We wish a speedy recovery to the millions of Americans who may lose their utilities because they could not pay their bills. We wish America a speedy recovery.” –Lewis Fulbright, Secretary Treasurer

Violence is not the Union Way

The FBI has warned North Texans that there may be violence during and after the elections, according to a front-page article in the Dallas newspaper. Unionists oppose violence because it works against all the victories we have won through concerted action. When certain politicians encourage armed white supremacists, Americans must choose the union way.

A petition calling on Governor Abbott to stop the threat of violence is available at https://actionnetwork.org/petitions/prohibit-gunslingers-at-the-polls?source=direct_link&
